First of all, I consider myself very fortunate to guide on some of the best flywater in the Western United States. Jackson Hole is my home and provides an excellent hub to the surrounding rivers and lakes. My relationship with the Jack Dennis Outdoor Shop & Heise Expeditions provides myself and valued clients with permit use on most rivers and lakes in the area, including:

*entire Yellowstone National Park

*Snake River through Grand Teton N.P.

*Snake River through Bridger-Teton N.F.

*Upper Green & New Fork Rivers

*South Fork of the Snake River, with Heise Expeditions

Our best fishing months are April through late October, with a wide variety of options thru these times, I would consider peak seasons as follows:

*late March-April(pre-runoff), Snake & South Fork very good but weather dependent

*May & June(runoff), Firehole River & area lakes are outstanding, South Fork fair-good

*late June-July, South Fork & Green Rivers are red hot with hatches

*August thru October, everywhere good...Snake river in JH is best in the fall

In addition to the fishing trips I teach instructional seminars covering every facet of the sport from beginners to expert anglers...these are often incorporated into a fishing trip with more emphasis on learning.
